All they need are their top guns to be on goal-scoring form. They got to the final of the CL without Sol Campbel and Cole for the majority of the tournament. Their only weakness is not having a squad to be consistent in more than one competition. As for Akrash's comments about it being a two horse race, he must be having a laugh! Liverpool will be ahead of Man Utd. once the scum get an injury or two up front and not being able to cope once the season is in full fledge. United are donig well now but don't have the squad to play Champions League, FA Cup and the league. They will need a quality striker and perhaps another back up in central MF (Hargreaves??) to stand a chance. Liverpool on the other hand have made some astute acquisitions in the transfer market, especially on the wings and in attack. Even Agger and Paletta were good buys in DF. If Liverpool get back up on the right buy selling Kromkamp and buying Daniel Alves, the squad will be complete. It will take some time for the team to gel but once they do the title won't be out of reach! Early days yet...
